Small Market Solution

Concurrent’s Small Market Solution™ (SMS) gives smaller cable systems (less than 5,000 digital customers) an economical VOD solution. The SMS supports 480 simultaneous streams and 860 hours of MPEG-2 content. Concurrent MediaHawk® Content Delivery System technology separates the video streaming engine from the storage arrays, allowing operators to independently scale streams and storage. Flexible and scalable, the SMS is easily expanded to support more streams as the customer base expands or more storage as content needs change.
