Campaign Director™

Campaign Director™ represents Concurrent’s fifth-generation of distributed ad campaign management technology for iTV and broadband platforms such as video on demand, IPG, walled garden, middleware, stream servers, interactive gaming systems, web portals and network enabled client services.

Campaign Director™ is comprised of two applications: the Campaign Director and the Campaign Decision Engine. Campaign Directors are normally licensed to cable and broadband operators, while Campaign Decision Engines are licensed to iTV and broadband partners for inclusion as part of their product strategy. A third level system is available for content providers working with licensed MSOs.

Campaign Director™ is a centralized, enterprise application server and data warehouse system for managing campaigns across single or multiple system networks. The Campaign Director was created using Java J2EE Enterprise Java Bean technology, giving it enterprise scalability, reliability and portability to different hardware and operating system platforms.

Campaign Director™ has a centralized function within the system architecture. It can be positioned virtually anywhere that has a TCP/IP network connection, although it is normally located within a central facility such as a data center, headend, site, or edge device. The Campaign Director™ can run on a single server along with its database services, or as an application and database server cluster.

The Enterprise Access Manager section of the Campaign Director™ also includes a monitoring console for remotely managing each of the Campaign Decision Engines assigned to it throughout the network.
