Charles Blackmon
Director
Charles Blackmon was appointed to Concurrent’s board of directors in April 2003.
Mr. Blackmon has over 28 years of financial management experience through numerous senior executive positions. Currently, he serves as senior vice president for Timberland Harvesters, Inc., a corporation that buys and sells timber and land.
Prior to joining Timberland Harvesters, Mr. Blackmon served as vice president and chief financial officer of Interline Brands, Inc., a public company that acts as a direct marketer and distributer of maintenance, repair and operations products.
Before Mr. Blackmon was employed with Interline, he worked at MAGNATRAX Corporation, a company specializing in manufacturing production for the construction industry. Throughout his career with MAGNATRAX, he held significant roles in financial reporting and corporate administration: vice president of finance and administration from 1994 to 1996, executive vice president and chief financial officer from 1996 to 2002, and vice president responsible for special financial and operational projects from 2002 to 2004. In addition, he served as a director of MAGNATRAX from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Blackmon was also the principal financial officer for American Buildings Company, a predecessor of MAGNATRAX, during its initial public offering and the five years that it was a public company.
Prior to his employment with MAGNATRAX, Mr. Blackmon worked several years in public accounting. He has a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the University of Virginia and is a certified public accountant. He is also active in local social and civic organizations
