AFFECTED SYSTEMS: All PowerMAX OS architectures.

RELEASE LEVEL: PowerMAX OS 4.3 and 5.1

EXPLANATION: A dependency on the existence of c++53runtime product in the gldevel, glextras,

glruntime and metroess products will cause an installation failure prohibiting successful installation and usage.

RESOLUTION:

A work around is to add the –a check option to the pkgadd command.

Example: pkgadd -a check -d <install media>

Also a symbolic link needs to be established from the most recent version of c++##runtime to 5.3

Example: ln –s /usr/ccs/release/5.4 /usr/ccs/release/5.3

This will be corrected in the next release of MetroX and OpenGL products.
